Annual pilgrimage to the mountains

I'm back now.  this year was very different because Jean and or Casey were not with me -  this year I traveled with two of my guy friends and camped instead of staying at our beloved Pisgah Inn.

Well, we started out staying with friends in Hayesville, N.C. and ended up a Floyd Fest in Floyd, Va.  a whirlwind of hiking and festing and camping. I am going to start by filling in the pics and develop a story after I get the images up.  people are wanting to see so I will deliver the visuals first.

wow what a great trip! the pictures don't go very far to depict the wet weather but it all goes down to experience.  all in all I was very impressed with the Grandfather Mountain area.  I shall return.
